About the Project
Downtown Arts District and CityArts, in collaboration with the Downtown Development Board, present the Orlando Mural Festival, beginning with a special Third Thursday Opening Reception on Thursday, September 17 from 6:00–9:00 PM at CityArts.
The upstairs Signature Gallery will feature studio work from muralists who have participated in the past two years of Orlando Mural Festival, offering a closer look at the artists and their practices beyond their large-scale public work.
The festival continues on Saturday, September 19 from 2:00–10:00 PM with a full-day street party in Downtown Orlando. The celebration will feature live panel muralists, live artists, art vendors, live music, food trucks, and more, giving visitors the opportunity to experience the energy of the festival and watch artists bring their work to life.
More announcements are coming soon, including participating muralists and additional mural locations.

About the Downtown Arts District
The Downtown Arts District’s (DAD) mission is to lead, stimulate, and guide the development of a vibrant, innovative arts and cultural district that enhances economic development in downtown Orlando, Florida.
DAD serves the downtown Orlando community by executing arts engagement programming, providing additional arts education opportunities, supporting local emerging and established artists, and executing public art projects. DAD manages and operates CityArts Orlando, a multi-purpose arts and cultural facility in Downtown Orlando.
